How Obama thinks about Israel in one picture, a cartoon, which seems appropriate. I saw it floating around Twitter and retweeted it but it was so spot-on I had to post it.

Jonathan Capeheart, RWNJ!
Jonathan Capeheart, MSNBC denizen, hard-core Obama supporter, defender of all things black and gay and progressive – and usually insufferable about it – told the truth today. He tweeted that this column on Ferguson (vindicating what we “Right-Wing-Nut-Jobs” have been saying all along!) was ‘the hardest piece he ever wrote’. It’s not often you find a hard-core – and I mean hard-core – lefty willing to tell the truth but Jonathan Capeheart did it in this article and notched several levels of newfound esteem & admiration from me, thus, this post.
Way to go, young man!
J. Capeheart just earned a HUGE lift in respect from me for this. HUGE -> ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’ was Built on a Lie http://t.co/4P066c3NGC

Ebola for Grown-ups
I tweeted this but wanted to be sure I drew your attention to it here; it’s that good. Smart fella with a smart, rational take on the situation. Highly recommended read.
Talks to you like a grown-up. SMART THOUGHTFUL CALM ANALYSIS -> #Ebola outbreak projections… http://t.co/Lh1ikmtSdH via .@HealthRanger

Cold “Splash” of Kennedy Truth
On the 45th Anniversary of Teddy Kennedy Leaving Mary Joe Kopechne to Die…
You MUST see the Storify curated by @BecketAdams which I found at Twitchy, of the epic rant of one @drawandstrike from Twitter, wherein he reveals the UGLY TRUTH about that “Lion of the Senate,” the late Ted Kennedy. The Kennedys are revered ’round these parts (where I live, not an hour north of the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis). But Teddy, that raconteur-cuddly-bear, left a girl to die – Mary Jo Kopechne – in a pitch-dark, cold pond, during an entire overnight of slowly rising water & suffocation, as the car slowly sank, while he showered, slept, and had breakfast with friends. I’ve been to the spot on Chappaquiddick where this happened. The wooden Dyke bridge is no longer there, long since dismantled, but the memory of that poor girl’s lonely death lives on in those of us who haven’t bought into the ensuing decades of Soviet-style disinformation.
I learned some details here even I didn’t know, and I’ve lived here all my life, and done a fair amount of reading on the matter.
That fat drunk is surely writhing in the burning flames of hell right now, if there is justice in the world.
Bonus: Did you know the Senator’s last dog – the one he owned when he died – was named “Splash”?
Yeah.
I tried to embed the whole rant here but, alas, it was beyond my meager digital wizardry. You will have to link to it here -> https://storify.com/BecketAdams/ted-kennedy-and-the-death-of-mary-jo
The Mask is TOTALLY Off Now
The president’s speechwriter (Favreau) isn’t even bothering to pretend anymore. This isn’t about alleviating suffering. It’s nakedly political. And they don’t care if you know it. Well, I care. I wanted them to know somebody was paying attention. I also thought it was time I was audited, you know? 🙂
@jonallendc @jakesherman I think they just want to say they voted on something, which is understandable

@jonfavs @jonallendc @JakeSherman 1. Admitting its a nakedly political act & not abt COMPASSION is genius. 2. WE HAVE A CONSTITUTION Skippy.
