Trump Kids One Bomb Away From Being Pauper Millionaires

Trump International Golf Club Dubai

Why am I the only one talking about this? I haven’t seen a single pundit mention this:

Every property with “Trump” on it is now a target. Just one bomb blows up up one Trump property and Trump’s uninsurable. If Trump’s uninsurable, the value of his properties collapses. How? Trump will have to sell. Which makes him prey. What once was a $100M building becomes a $25M building because he has to sell it – fast. In fact, he has to sell all of them fast. And everyone will know it: Trump will know he can’t afford to have a second hotel full of employees/guests blown up, and the buyer will know Trump can’t afford to have another hotel of employees/guest blown up. It becomes an instant fire sale. And a literal one.

Trump’s kids will be mere pauper millionaires.

Think about it: You’re a terrorist. You and your merry band of jihadis know the Leader of the Free World owns the hotel within driving distance of the sh*thole you live in. You surround the place and make a call: “Release the Blind Sheik (or whatever) or we blow up 1,000 people and turn your gold-plated marble tower into rubble.”

Even the threat of it is enough. Even if our guys save the day and the bomb doesn’t go off that would do it. Fire sale ON.

Quite apart from the financial calamity for the Trump children, suddenly pauper millionaires, there’s the human calamity. How many thousands of people are kidnapping targets now? How many front desk clerks, maids, golf pros, hotel managers? Every single one of these people is now a target because their “boss” is the President.

I’m frankly stunned Trump’s insurers haven’t given him a little ring-a-dingy and said “Hey, uh, Mr. President-elect… About your policy… We’re thinking we may have to raise your premiums… A LOT.”

Maybe this phone call did happen and that’s why Trump’s press conference regarding the future of his company which was scheduled today was postponed indefinitely.

There’s every reason in the world for him to 100% divest, not the least of which is the ethical one, but really, the fiscal one is what would – and should – send a thrill up his leg: it’s 100% tax free! That’s right! There’s a law that says if you have to divest because you’re an elected official you don’t have to pay any taxes on the sale. Let’s say he would normally pay 39% on the sale. Does he expect the value of his holdings to increase more than 40% over the next 4-8 years? Hard to see how if he’s not going to make “any new deals” (which is what he tweet-promised yesterday).

SELL Mr. Trump. SELL. NOW. You’ll get a +40% return. And very likely save some lives. Sometimes doing the right thing can be profitable. This one of those times. Don’t throw it away with both hands.

Only His Hairdresser Knows For Sure

This is why the internet was invented. Right here. Not information disbursement. Not the betterment of humanity. Not for military purposes, which is why it was actually invented. No. It’s for side-by-side images like this that can unite the peoples of the world. In harmony. And beauty.

Hmm-hmm.😏

Knowing as we do how the presidency ages you, we can only guess how he might handle it. To dye or not to dye? I mean… It looks like he already does (these Photoshop highlights notwithstanding). Donny’s vain. The presidency will not be kind to him. He may decline a second term just because it makes him look like sh*t. Then again, he thinks he looks fabulous right now.

Bonus? This Golden Pheasant was photographed at the Hangzhou Zoo in… ChYna.

If nothing else, watching the Trump years will be entertaining. It may be entertaining from the gulag, but it will be entertaining.

Bottom Up, Truth Out.

email-button

Obama’s first term White House environmental czar, self-described Marxist Van Jones, brought “bottom up” power to post-2009’s popular political lexicon. Basically it means change comes from the bottom, from the masses, forcing the top to their will. There’s a lot of truth to that, 2012-04-04-cnn-startingpoint-vanjones2God knows, but educated ears hear “violent mob” when Van says it, because that is what he means. The underlying principle is sound, however, even if the form it takes in the hands of a Marxist is less than righteous: true power lies with the people, and the people, over the objections of their leaders, can wield it to effect true change.

Well, the people with badges have had enough. By all accounts, the field agents of the FBI are ready to revolt, thus FBI Director Comey’s letter to congress on Friday saying ‘Yeah… Remember when I said under oath that if something juicy came along I’d reboot the Hillary probe? I got a whole truck full o’juicy.’

Left, Cheryl Mills. Right, Huma Abedin

Left, Cheryl Mills. Right, Huma Abedin

Know those 33,000 missing emails? FBI found 650,000 emails on a computer shared by Huma Abedin and her sex pervert husband, Anthony Weiner. Abedin, if you’re unfamiliar, is Hillary’s self-described “second daughter.” Her most trusted aide. Except for Cheryl Mills, who is an attorney, nobody is closer to her than Huma. Huma’s a human pilot fish. Constantly swimming alongside in the sewer of filth Felony Grandma oozes all over the globe.

Well, Friday about noon Comey threw the grenade, then Sunday night the Wall Street Journal dropped the MOAB. Friday we find out Comey’s rebooting the investigation. Sunday we find out it’s because of these newly found 650,000 emails.

Now we wait.

Rich Lowry at NRO pretty well captures the magnitude of it, and I recommend you read it, and follow the embedded link to the WSJ to fill in the details. These are truly historic days, indeed.

The FBI’s Clinton Foundation Probe

By Rich Lowry — October 30, 2016

Cruz’s Silence is DEAFENING.

Cruz’s silence is deafening, and that’s a good thing. He’s doing what all good warriors do: getting out of the way while your enemy is self-destructing. And when even HuffPo gets it, you know you’ve fought the good fight. I’ve been saying this for a month. You can’t lose if you hold fast to principles. It may take a while to look like you’re not losing, but it will come.

The only point of disagreement I have with the piece is that Cruz is “smiling.” He’s not smiling. He’s aggrieved. But not for himself, for the Republic. This isn’t fun for anyone who loves the Constitution, or America’s ideals.

Via The Huffington Post, August 14, 2016: As Donald Trump Self-Destructs, Ted Cruz Is Probably One Of The Few Republicans Smiling Right Now by Mario Almonte, PR Strategist, Commentator

2016-08-10-1470852710-5052205-Ted_Cruzcropped-thumbTed Cruz must be a happy camper these days. With Donald Trump spiraling into an epic meltdown not seen since Britney Spears shaved her head, he is among only a handful of Republican leaders who stoically refused to endorse Trump from the onset. As such, he is poised to emerge with incredible political capital and a national reputation as the only major Republican who refused categorically to be “a servile puppy“ to Donald Trump. Even more importantly, unlike the Bush clan, Cruz was the only Republican who showed up at the Republican National Convention and told it to Trump’s face. He told the audiences to “vote your conscience,” which promptly got him booed off the stage.

Although the Trump organization had been given copies of Cruz’s speech hours before he spoke, Cruz’s refusal to “say his name” immediately elicited angry cries of “traitor” from fellow Republicans like Chris Christie and Rudy Giuliani, the former who had “turned over his political testicles long ago,” according to Cruz’s former campaign manager, Jeff Roe. Cruz’s popularity plummeted among Republicans in the days following his speech and pundits wrote his eulogy.

Immediately following the Democratic National Convention, Donald Trump began to unravel in a series of stunningly bizarre and self-destructive rants that included insulting the family of a soldier killed in action. Republicans have begun to come out en masse to denounce his actions and say they might even vote for Hillary Clinton. These included Senator Susan Collins, 50 security experts who signed a letter calling Trump unfit to be President, and other lawmakers and business leaders. Congressman Mike Coffman even ran an ad saying, “Honestly, I don’t care for him much.”

Hillary Clinton has now open up a double digit lead over Trump, according to some surveys. Director of NATOSource Jorge Benitez called him, “The most dangerous man in the world.” Donald Trump’s mental health is even becoming an issue. House Speaker Paul Ryan, despite Trump’s initial refusal to endorse him, easily won his primary race against Paul Nehlen, a “Donald Trump-inspired opponent.”

Today, the growing consensus is that Trump is poised to lose the election. The New York Daily News took it further and called for Trump to end his campaign now, “in a reckoning with his own madness.” The sentiment seems to be supported by the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll, which finds that nearly 1 in 5 Republicans want Trump to drop out.

Cruz has been quiet, these days, watching the show. Only recently, the world was calling his speech at the Republican National Convention political suicide. Might they soon be calling it his golden ticket to the White House?
