This guy is like my Dad, who is a bottom-line, no nonsense Yankee pragmatist.  Matt Simmons is a 30 year vet of the oil industry and tells it like it is here that the Deepwater Horizon’s “casing” is blown, thus the relief well will not work, the well is spewing 120,000 barrels per day, and that the only option to stop it is to blow a small nuke, as has been done successfully before. (You have to sit through a vapid one minute promo on self-referential Manhattan narcissists and then it begins.)
