I’ve read an awful lot about Obama (I mean a lot. A dozen+ books & countless articles) and two things gnaw at me:

1. What the hell was he doing in Pakistan in 1981? In fact, that whole period of his life after Occidental through Columba is the darkest chapter of his life. Precious little is known about it.

2. There’s something about the Geithners. I don’t know what. But they are the only continuous link in his life. Obama’s mother worked for the Ford Foundation in Indonesia, where Peter Geithner was her boss. Now their children are engaged in spreading the wealth in Washington D.C. There’s something there I just know it.
