UPDATE SAT 6/15/2013:  WE GOT HIM! PIX TO COME!

Meet Ollie, (so named for his olive colored eyes, says my daughters).  We’re considering this little guy for adoption.  Assuming all goes well, we should have him one week from today.

Nothing heals the heartbreak of love like giving more love away, huh?

(He’s a rescue mutt.  Litter of five.  He’s a border collie mixed with… several other things…  June, our daughter’s tutor, thought he might have pit bull because of his eyes, which would be a deal killer, but none of his other siblings have those eyes, or that squarish head, so we’re thinking that even if it’s in there, it’s inconsequential.)
