If you missed Tuesday’s House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing with Secretaries Kerry, Moniz, and Lew (I was at the beach and listening on CSPAN for crying out loud… That’s how pathetic MY life is…) it’s a must see/read.  Even normally “friendly” coverage was appalled.  It was awful.  I mean truly awful.

In just one of many jaw-dropping exchanges, with both Democratic and Republican congressmen, Secretary “How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake” Kerry admitted, correctly, that Iran is the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism and that this deal’s multi-billion dollar cash infusion “may” result in American/allied deaths.

Whose son are you willing to sacrifice, Mr. Secretary?  Which one?  Which two? HOW MANY sons, husbands, brothers, fathers, so you can have some STUPID Nobel prize?  Where would you even hang it?  So many homes… so few Nobels… Perhaps you can summer with it on Nantucket, winter with it in Ketchum, enjoy autumn with it at Louisburg Square, delight at the spring cherry blossoms with it at Bodisco House, or even take it for a little sail on your $7M custom-made yacht you docked in Newport to avoid paying the half-million dollar MA excise tax.  Just be sure you have your butler secure it to the shelf in case your captain has to cross a large wake.  Pesky ferries.  All the great unwashed mucking up the muckety-muck’s playgrounds.

I don’t even know how you can argue this isn’t treasonous.  We’re aiding and abetting the enemy for crying-out-loud!  I know people throw that word around (treason) but for Heaven’s sake!  Isn’t that the sum & total of what we’re doing here?

Consider just TWO of the aiding-and-abetting-the-enemy aspects of this deal:

BEFORE: We acted affirmatively to STOP Iran from getting money to hurt us/allies.

AFTER: We will act affirmatively to HELP Iran get BILLION$ to hurt us/allies.

BEFORE: We acted affirmatively to STOP Iran from having ANY nuclear program. Period.

AFTER: We will act affirmatively to not only HELP Iran have a nuclear program but will act affirmatively to PROTECT it from cyber/physical attacks.

…And that’s just two of the most jaw-droopingly egregious.

I don’t recognize my country anymore.
